What part of your home do you find most relaxing?
Big Sandy, my cozy antique armchair, is my favorite spot. It sits right by the window, facing the beach, where I can sink in, soak up the ocean views and just breathe. It’s the perfect place to pause, recharge and feel totally at peace.

What about the South Bay makes you feel young at heart?
Watching my kids run through the sand at RAT Beach, walking our dog along The Strand or savoring a post-T-ball ice cream cone in the Village—these moments take me back to my own childhood, doing the same things in the same place. They remind me to slow down, soak it all in and appreciate the simple joys of life.

Which local artist deserves a spot in your home?
Cinthia Joyce is an incredible Manhattan Beach artist. We have several of her pieces in our homes, both here and in Palm Springs.

Who’s the most stylish person you know in the South Bay?
That answer is easy: Christa Lyons! She’s the ultimate retro supermodel and does it effortlessly. Whether she is dressed up or keeping it casual, she always looks stunning with a natural elegance that makes everything she wears look incredible.

How do you chase away the May Gray blues?
Grabbing a coffee from one of my local favorites, Goodboybob, followed by a walk along The Strand, is such a peaceful way to take in the ocean breeze—even with the overcast skies. Catching up with a friend over drinks and a snack at Georgia’s Lounge, Vista or Molloy’s sounds like a great way to round out the afternoon. The outdoor dining and fireplaces definitely create a cozy vibe, no matter the weather.
