Holiday Dining

From counting blessings this Thanksgiving to celebrating the joys of Christmas and Hanukkah, guests are invited to sit at Terranea’s table for a variety of holiday dining experiences. Taking full advantage of the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island views, each restaurant promises tastes that satisfy and sights that surprise. Terranea’s chefs take a fresh approach by tailoring menus with an emphasis on seasonal and local ingredients, many of which are grown in local gardens. Each of Terranea’s restaurants has an alfresco experience perfect for your intimate holiday feast. If you would rather relax in your room or in the comfort of your own home, order your holiday meal to go from sea beans.

Turkey Day Hike

Work up a turkey day appetite by joining a Terranea naturalist for a picturesque guided hike around Terranea on Thanksgiving Day. Learn more about the local flora and fauna and give thanks for the surrounding natural habitat of the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

Private Falconry Experience

Select dates in November and December, 9 a.m.

With this morning ritual, guests learn about the natural history of the resort’s beautiful birds of prey, including falcons, Harris’s hawks and Eurasian eagle owls. The resident falconer will present these majestic birds and discuss the important roles they play—not only at Terranea but in the wider environment as well.
