Will Passavia

Will Passavia is a real estate advisor specializing in selling, buying and leasing residential real estate in the South Bay and Greater Los Angeles. Will earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland, where he played Division I lacrosse for four years. He spent a decade working in residential real estate development in the Hamptons and L.A. before switching to sales 11 years ago. He and his family of four live in Manhattan Beach.

What led to your choice of this career field?  

My passion for connecting with people. After over a decade in real estate development around the country, it was clear that my true fulfillment came from the interactions and relationships I built when selling our properties. 

How do you foster a positive work environment with clients? 

I care for the people I work with almost to a fault. The experience of buying or selling a home is a team effort—everyone needs to be a part of it. This leads to better communication and positive outcomes. And fun! We always have a good laugh and some fun along the way.

How do you differentiate yourself in a crowded field?

I believe that always doing the right thing has earned me a reputation as a trusted and loyal resource in my field. I work diligently to help my clients set and meet their expectations. Additionally, I genuinely enjoy my profession and the people I work with. Bringing positivity to what can often be a challenging experience leads to happy clients.

You’re not from California. Is that a positive or negative in your work?   

Growing up in New York has been a tremendous benefit. There is no way to appreciate California as much as I do if I had grown up here. Learning to interact with people during the harsh winters back East has equipped me with a unique skill set that translates well to high-pressure scenarios, such as buying or selling luxury real estate. If I can work with New Yorkers, I can work with anyone!
