RJ has assembled a team of project managers and builders with diverse backgrounds—including design, marketing, tech, human resources, administrative work, video editing, wealth management and, of course, building. “I love the South Bay’s beautiful community,” says RJ, whose passion for construction started as a child, inspired by his parents. He spent time on construction sites when he was young and started working in the industry with his stepfather after he graduated from college.
His aha moment came when he was working for a Manhattan Beach developer and decided to leave a secure position and take a leap into a development project and two custom homes. He has never looked back, and from that experience RJ Smith Construction was born.
RJ and his team understand the Beach Cities lifestyle and what residents are looking for in a home. They are experts on the South Bay, having focused on the area for 18 years.
