Serving the Golden State for three decades, the team is well aware of the need to protect the skin from harsh sun rays. “All of our providers are skin cancer experts,” says Jennifer Herrmann, MD. “We specialize in skin cancer prevention, early detection and the highest cure-rate treatments. Our physicians are all board-certified, fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic skin cancer surgeons.”

The team promotes the benefits of using high-quality products that contain DNA repair enzymes to undo sun damage caused by our SoCal lifestyles. They recommend various vitamins and supplements to enhance optimum health inside and out.

South Bay native Ronald Moy, MD, founded the practice while working as co-chief of the dermatology department of UCLA, where he had the opportunity to train both Dr. Fincher and Lisa Chipps, MD. The practice then moved to Beverly Hills and expanded to additional locations in Torrance and Encino. Dr. Herrmann and Dr. Lauren Moy later joined the team.

All five physicians are leaders in cosmetic dermatology, using transformational techniques to correct the signs of aging, treat the effects of the sun, and address general and cosmetic skin care concerns. Along with their support team, they are dedicated to personalized patient care and natural-looking results. 

Dr. Ronald Moy is a diplomat of the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and has published more than 200 scholarly articles. He is a renowned international lecturer on advancing cosmetic surgery technologies. He is past president of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.

Dr. Fincher received his medical and doctorate degrees from the University of Tennessee, Memphis. Dr. Chipps earned her medical degree at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. Dr. Herrmann earned her medical degree from Harvard University, and Dr. Lauren Moy earned her medical degree from Albany Medical College. 

All five physicians completed a dermatology residency and a Mohs micrographic surgery fellowship. Dr. Ronald Moy, Dr. Fincher, Dr. Chipps and Dr. Lauren Moy also completed cosmetic surgery fellowships.

The Moy-Fincher-Chipps team includes physician assistants Jeffrey So and Nisha Shah, nurse practitioner Jillian Roy, and nurses Kaitie McKeever and Caitlin Vandermolen. Along with the physicians, they are known for their skills and compassionate care.

Moy-Fincher-Chipps remains at the forefront of innovative techniques and is committed to advancing the field of dermatology by performing breakthrough research. They have developed and tested new products and devices for treating multiple types of skin conditions and cancer.

Three decades after the founding of Moy-Fincher-Chipps Facial Plastics & Dermatology, the practice recently became an affiliate of Golden State Dermatology—a comprehensive medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology network with locations throughout the Western U.S.
