Audrey Judson earned a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Southern California and worked in that industry for a few years before transitioning to real estate 35 years ago. She worked with Shorewood Realtors for years before joining Pacifica Properties Group.


What inspired you to pursue this career?

I was working at a local aerospace company as a satellite engineer when my husband and I purchased a home. I was fascinated by the process and decided to get my license with the intention of selling part time to fellow engineers. Turns out that I loved selling homes! The rest is history.


In what ways do you stand out?

Because of my background in engineering, I tend to focus on details that others may miss. I take pride in reviewing every document and report with my clients—making sure they understand everything they are signing and taking nothing for granted. I think my clients appreciate my thoroughness and my honesty.


Do you work remotely?

I work best in my office. Although I love the option of working remotely, I’m most productive when I’m at my office surrounded by my incredible team and associates—especially my amazing assistant, Jen.


What is your current passion project?

I’ve been a member of the Manhattan Beach Outdoor Dining Task Force for the past year. We’ve been brainstorming solutions to increase the vibrancy of our dining and shopping areas while retaining a small-town feeling and being mindful of residents who live near commercial districts. We are so fortunate to have amazing weather in Southern California. Trying to find ways to expand upon our wonderful sense of community is a passion of mine.


Whom do you credit for your success?

My mother and grandmother taught me the meaning of kindness and an impeccable work ethic. I treat my clients with care and respect. They are never just another sale to me. Many have become close friends. I think my clients understand and appreciate my honesty and my commitment to helping them achieve their goals, which is why my business is primarily made up of repeat business and referrals.
