Michelle Steele has two decades of experience as an esthetician, massage therapist and Reiki master. She opened her private studio, Inner Glimmer, in 2012. Michelle specializes in facial sculpting massage and high-tech treatments and carries a curated collection of top skin care and wellness brands, including Biologique Recherche.

In what ways do you stand out?

Since 1999, my journey as a licensed massage therapist and Reiki master, combined with my Parisian skin care training, has given me a profound understanding of the intricate link between the physical and emotional aspects of well-being. This is far more than a profession for me—it’s my calling, fueled by the desire to redefine the client experience so that every customized treatment feels like an indispensable necessity. When trusting an esthetician with your largest organ—your skin—you want someone with knowledge and a breadth and depth of experience, but most of all you want flawless results. 

What would you like potential clients to know about you?

Today consumers are more selective than ever about product ingredients, and so am I. This is why it is an honor to be one of only 300 approved and trained ambassadors in the country—and the only brand ambassador in the South Bay—to offer the iconic Biologique Recherche treatments from Paris.

What are the latest trends in aesthetics?

The aesthetics industry is constantly innovating, adapting and evolving. With that comes cutting-edge technologies, techniques and approaches to skin care that cater to the unique needs of every individual. The trends I’m drawn to focus on total mind/body/wellness (holistic modalities such as microcurrent, lymphatic drainage and buccal facial massage) and less on invasive procedures. I believe beautiful skin at any age radiates energy and health.

How can we support other women?

Empowering women begins with the integrity of our words. When we uplift one another with kindness, we unlock the power to transform not only ourselves but also the world around us. My commitment to empowering women runs deep, as I strive to ignite a passion for a healthy lifestyle that fosters well-being and vitality.
