The team at South Bay Dental Solutions has been focused on treating the whole patient, not just their teeth, since South Bay native Dr. Bryan Baker opened the practice in 2004. Their dedicated team members have been with the practice for years, focusing on educating patients, helping them understand their insurance benefits and ensuring they are comfortable during appointments. Rounding out the team is general dentist Dr. Christina Stahlheber, a graduate of University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry who has been in practice for nine years and joined South Bay Dental Solutions in 2009. Dr. Baker is a graduate of UCLA’s dental school and is a trained Maxillofacial Prosthodontist.

What would you like potential patients to know about you?

Bryan: “We believe our practice is an extension of our community. Our mission is to build strong patient relationships based on trust, integrity and uncompromised care. We offer the best and most complete care for our patients.”

What’s most rewarding about your work?

Christina: “Life is about relationships. I look forward to the company of my teammates in the office and seeing familiar patient faces on the schedule each day.”

What does the future hold for your practice?

Bryan: “Our office is going through a remodel, both inside and out. Once it’s done, we plan to have a block party (complete with a taco truck and DJ!) to share with our neighbors and patients.”

What’s one trend that is defining your specialty today?

Christina: “Technology is everywhere you look, even in dentistry, and our practice is no different. We utilize our 3D imaging equipment to identify specific ways we can more effectively treat our patients and manage their care more thoughtfully.”

What is your area of specialty?

Bryan: “I have received an additional four years of dental training as a Maxillofacial Prosthodontist, a small and prestigious dental specialty. As a Maxillofacial Prosthodontist I am trained in functional esthetics. When other dentists can’t find a solution, I can.”

What do you like to do for fun, when you’re not at work?

Christina: “When I’m not at work, I can usually be found in my kitchen making something from scratch. For me, the process of creating things and making subtle changes to make something simple extraordinary is well worth the extra effort.”
