Lifestyle By Lindsey is focused on helping clients take control of their health by teaching healthy choices in eating and meal planning, as well as finding the right type of fitness training for their body type. The studio offers Pilates training, beach bootcamps, TRX training and other types of fitness plans, in addition to nutritional coaching, which includes cleanses and meal planning. “The biggest goal for us is to get people to change their perspective about food and exercise and to make it become more holistic,” says owner and lifestyle fitness coach Lindsey LeGrande. She has been teaching Pilates for the past seven years and has worked in fitness and coaching for more than 15 years.

What would you like potential clients to know about you?

“The 21-day LBL Transformation Program I offer is a springboard into a new life program for fitness and healthy eating. The program starts with a cleanse and includes a custom Pilates workout. It helps re-teach things we already know about food and gives guidelines to follow throughout the program, as well as recipes and a grocery list. I have proven results and tons of clients who are walking advocates for the program.”

Who is your typical client?

“Clients vary from high school athletes to NFL, NBA and pro tennis athletes, all the way to rehabbing someone after a hip surgery or helping someone cope with their foot pain. We custom-build programs for each individual.”

Do you teach clients about the mind/body connection?

“Our work cannot be done without it. Pilates is all about breaking down movement to gain a deeper connection to your core.”

What do you suggest clients do when they hit a plateau with their fitness routine?

“Try new things! Cross-training is the best way to keep your metabolism working as well as to keep the mind occupied!”

How do you maintain your own health and fitness?

“In addition to doing Pilates in my classes, I also take a private class once a week with Pilates guru, Mari Winsor. I constantly try new things, but my true loves are beach volleyball and stand-up paddling. I also run in the soft sand, walk on The Strand, do the TRX, Kundalini yoga, etc.”
