A life-long resident of Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach, Realtor Nick Schneider worked for years in sales for his family’s hardwood lumber company before entering the real estate field. Nick received his real estate license in 2009 and became a full-time Realtor in 2010, when he was awarded the South Bay Association of Realtors “rookie of the year” award for the greater LA area. He specializes in representing buyers and sellers in residential sales in the South Bay beach cities, under the umbrella of South Bay Brokers.
What would you like potential clients to know about you?
“I am a hard-working, dedicated Realtor who—above all else—has his clients’ best interest in mind. There’s not a situation I run into where I can’t or won’t find a solution. I have a great book of contacts that directly benefits my clients, whether it’s getting their home ready for the market or providing buyers properties that aren’t on the market. My approach is to be a sort of personal concierge for my clients.”
What’s your forecast for the 2012 real estate market?
“As our country’s economy gets back on its feet and the lending becomes more available, I believe we’ll see an influx of new inventory. I believe that in 2012, the South Bay home prices—which have pretty much stabilized now—will start to go back up.”
What’s most rewarding about your work?
“Seeing my clients’ satisfaction after we put together a deal. I give my clients every resource to help them in the sale or purchase of their home. When you sign up with me, you get the full package.”
How do you give back to your community?
“I am a founding member of Commissions for Education, started by my friend and colleague Alex Abad. We give 1% of our commissions to the South Bay Education Foundation. In our first year, we have raised $100,000 for the local schools.”
