What makes Matt Morris a cut above the rest in the real estate world of the South Bay?
He not only has 15 years experience as a Realtor, but he is also a high-end custom home builder and developer. “As a custom builder, I have many years of experience helping client’s translate their style and needs into a beautiful and functional home for their family,” Matt says. “As a Realtor with a long history in Manhattan Beach, I have a deep knowledge base of the existing inventory of homes. After attending the University of Arizona on a football scholarship, Matt went to work as an apprentice for a renowned home developer in Texas. He then moved to Southern California to start his own development company and is now blessed to do what he loves in a place that he loves. Matt has consistently been a “Top 5 Producer” with Shorewood Realtors, specializing in the sand, hill and tree sections of Manhattan Beach and the sand section of Hermosa Beach.

With my long history of building in the South Bay area, I have personal knowledge of the entire construction process from start to finish. “My clients tend to come to me via word-of-mouth and are typically people with a sophisticated sense of design, style and taste. More often than not, I forge long-lasting friendships with my clients.”
What area of real estate do you specialize in?
“I specialize in the higher end of the market. I am also an expert in site acquisition for new construction development. Having this understanding of all aspects of the transaction enables me to structure complex transactions when necessary. I often have knowledge of homes being for sale before they are ever introduced to the market. In fact, a large portion of my sales have been land sales or existing homes that were never put on the market.”
