Describe the contemporary project you’ve featured.

“This contemporary home has a lot of architectural features that really make it different. First, the property consists of many elements, including a main residence, a casita and outdoor landscaping features such as a waterfall sculpture and a recessed fire pit. The combination of materials used, from both the interior and the exterior, as well as their applications, make the home unique. The spaces are comfortable, contemporary, light and provide abundant amenities, but the size is not overwhelming or intimidating. It’s a very inviting, zen-like space.”  

Why is your company unique? 

“After 25 years in business in Southern California, we’ve designed and built many custom homes and commercial spaces. From client-owned properties to development projects, we’ve been involved with a wide variety of unique and interesting projects. Our Fifteen Step Process outlined on our website provides a structured process for our clients to walk through the C&C Partners Design/Build process so they have a better idea of what to expect and how we can best accommodate them. It’s proven to be a very valuable resource for our clients. Additionally, while we offer in-house ‘custom home’ design services, we also work with architects outside our practice and build projects for their clients. We have the capacity to take plans by other architects and build for them. We enjoy having the diversity to work with local architects and expanding those working relationships in the South Bay. We’ve had the pleasure of working with many high-profile clients including celebrities and professional athletes. We can successfully complete high-end projects with specific client requests while providing the privacy and confidentiality required at that level.” 

Describe the Mediterranean home you’ve featured. 

“This was a very high-end project that really resonates with the client’s personality and taste. Quality construction and attention to design detail were paramount on this project to successfully achieve the look of a 1920s Spanish Revival. From the landscaping and the exterior approach with the arches, fountains and courtyard, every detail was considered. Inside, the home is warm, inviting and filled with design details that are very specific to the owner. This was a highly focused project that was built to exact standards throughout.” 

What is the history of your company?

“My brother, Michael, and I started this company in 1987. We design and build mid to high-end, custom homes from Pacific Palisades to Palos Verdes. We’re not tied to any one architectural style but prefer to build based on each client’s specific wants, needs and style. We are a full-service Design/Build company offering custom home design, attention to detail construction, interior and landscaping design services for both residential and small commercial projects. Currently, our firm is approximately 80% new construction and 20% remodeling projects.”

What’s on the horizon for C & C Partners?

“In October, the National Home Builders Association (NHAB) will host the `Top 20 National Custom Home Builders in the Design/Build Industry,’ and we’re hosting that meeting. It’s terrific to be part of this group, and we’re honored to have them visit Southern California to see the variety of custom homes being developed in our area.”
