Eli Fairfield, Sales Manager

"Manhattan Beach and the surrounding cities is one of the best places to live in the world. The weather, schools and restaurant options are at the top of people’s list."

Sales manager and loan officer Eli Fairfield takes pride in the fact that his team consists of very experienced locals who always aim for excellent customer service. His professional philosophy is to listen to each customer’s needs so he can respond efficiently and effectively. A mortgage banker for the past 10 years, Eli has been a Top Producer for seven consecutive years. His goal is to get each client the right loan—not just any loan—to fulfill their home financing needs. Eli attended high school at La Costa Canyon in San Diego and college at USC.

How many transactions did you complete in Southern California last year?
“We funded $125 million in closed loans for 2011, which puts us in the very top percentage of originators nationwide. I’m very proud and thankful of the hard work that my team consistently delivers year after year.”

What does it take to be the best in the business?
“Consistency, the ability to listen and very strong morals and work ethic.” In what ways do you provide top-notch customer service?
“I try to always make sure questions and messages are returned as fast as possible and to give accurate estimates to clients, as well as consistently offering the best advice possible.”

What is the biggest challenge facing your clients today?
“Getting a loan can be a stressful time, dealing with all the questions and paperwork. We try our best to stay organized and prepare people for what to expect during the home-buying process.”

What’s most rewarding about your work?
“I get the most satisfaction out of my job when we see how excited someone is when they walk into their new home for the first time. There are so many choices for people in today’s mortgage world, and it is very rewarding when we get thank you letters or pictures of people in their new homes.”

Who is your typical client?
“Another rewarding thing about my job is the diverse group of clients I’m able to interact with. At any given time, we are working with a family buying their first home or a successful surgeon or professional athlete. The ability to interact with all different customers keeps my job interesting.”
