Just in time for summer, The Strand House in Manhattan Beach is now open for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, offering its views of the Pacific Ocean and Manhattan Beach pier, and philosophy for serving fresh, “farm-to-table” cuisine to a hungry mid day audience.
The menu, presented by Chefs Neal Fraser and Greg Hozinsky, includes a choice of market-fresh soups and salads, pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, fresh seafood, prime meats, sweets, and more.
“Our recent success with Saturday and Sunday brunch demonstrated a demand for a special mid day venue in Manhattan Beach,” said Michael Zislis, owner of The Strand House. “Whether it is for business or pleasure, The Strand House is a perfect lunch destination.”
The Strand House weekend brunch is offered Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The menu includes a broad selection of appetizers; salads; charcuterie; omelets, frittatas and other egg dishes; pancakes and waffles; sandwiches; pizzas; and, sweets. Dinner is served from 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, and the bar opens with the restaurant and stays open until the restaurant closes at 12 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday and Sunday nights, and 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights.
