12th Annual Day at the Beach “Adopt a Child for One Day” Community Outreach Event

Day at the Beach “Adopt a Child for One Day” Event is an extraordinary experience during which over 250 at-risk children – ages 7-13- from local shelters, foster care and Title 1 schools will be paired one-on-one with adult volunteers like YOU for a day of sun, fun and friendship on Manhattan Beach! The day is filled with relay races, face painting, surf lessons, swimming and MORE! The experience fosters positive experiences for both the childand volunteer, promotes healthy interaction, inspiration and hope.
