When thinking about setting a table for a party or special occasion, it's easy to switch things up with a few key pieces. Depending if you want a more casual or formal look to your table, a simple change of a tablecloth can set the tone for a meal. You don't have to spend a lot of money to set a nice table; a few budget friendly tips are: Flowers from your garden put in old jars or cans make a great centerpiece, use a sheet (starched and pressed) for a white tablecloth, fabric remnants can make great napkins, baskets laying around can be used for bread or a centerpiece, mismatched flatware and glassware is always in! And...don't forget with a great iPod mix, dimmed lights, lots of candles around, and wonderful friends you can't go wrong!
