04/25/12LOCAL LOVE: Two Guns Espressoif you're a semi-fanatic-coffee-lover {like me & the fireman} then you are probably always looking for the next cool spot to grab a cup of joe! this local hot-spot TWO GUNS opened about 6 months ago in manhattan beach, ca ((on Sepulveda next to the "BIG WOK") & has become one of my favorite coffee stops in LA! the shop itself is kicked back, friendly, low key, and has seating inside & out. |

04/23/12WHAT {i} WORE no.10well happy monday. boowhooo (sad face). unfortunately the weather in LA wasn't all that i had hoped for. it was overcast and boarded on drizzling all weekend long! now keep in mind, i am one of those weirdo's that actually LOVES chilly overcast weather... but that is not the case when the weather man promised me sunshine & high 70's!!! damn weather man! |

04/20/12HAPPY friday!we made it!!! another week down... and one killer weekend ahead!! the weather is going to perfection (so i hear), the beaches will be full, and my days are going to be close to empty! yay! i love those weekends were you have time to do just about anything you want. |

04/17/12WHAT {i} WORE no.9the weather in LA has been crazy lately! craaa-zy!!! one day it is howling 50mph winds with sideways rain and the next day it is warm and sunny with gorgeous blue sky's! so yesterday was one of the good ones! a bright blue sky with a pretty sunset and warm weather in between. so i threw on my go-to white skinnies ((from Target... hello, score!)) and my new favorite nude pumps to celebrate this gorgeous day. this kinda-look is my go-to outfit for a spontaneous date-night with my #1 squeeze, the fireman. **i heard it was 85° in NYC yesterday! is the weather a little crazy where you live too??? ***check out more "what i wore's" HERE. boom.... |

04/16/12DIY + chalkboard bottlesover the weekend my lovely mother & i hosted a bridal shower for one of my uber-fabulous-girlfriends! we planned a menu full of mexican appetizer's & greek entree's (the brides fave), filled the tables with an assortment of garden flowers n' candles, and gave these chalkboard painted bottles as the guests party favor! now once i heard of chalkboard paint i had 1,000 ideas pop into my head of things i could paint... and these sleek glass bottles were one of them! here is where i bought my bottles & my paint was from good ole Home Depot. now i only have 999 more things to paint with my new {& fabulous} chalkboard paint! **check out more DIY... |
