Hey peeps! I'm Vanessa, the gal from A Fashion Gal & A Fireman! I write a blog about Fashion, Foodie {stuff} & crafty DIY's daily and have just began contributing to the Our Southbay site! Whoop-whoop Southbay Mag! I'm born & raised in Redondo Beach and have working in the Fashion Industry ever since I could get my first job... & the Fireman was born in Hermosa Beach and works as a local Fireman in the South Bay. But for now, let's talk FASHION!! Winter fashion, that is. Here are a few easy trends & styling tips to implement into your daily wardrobe for this {hot/cold} yo-yo weather!

trend. CHUCKY NECK-BLING
// style tip: you can pair one of these chunkers with anything! a pretty blouse & blazer, a tank & a cardigan, or even a funky old tee! //
trend. STRUCTURED BLAZERS
// style tip: a structure blazer is NO LONGER just for the office! dress that thing up with a pretty pencil skirt or just throw one on over a pair of jeans and some great heels!
trend. FUR fur Fur!
// style tip: i know you see snow in these photo's, but this is NOT just a cold-weather trend, nope! my only advice to pulling some fur off... is not to go overboard. maybe try to dress it down. think tonal colors and not too much bling. we don't want people mistaking you for a Vegas showgirl, or do we?! (wink-wink!) //

// style tip: for the most part leopard is the perfect print for accessories. unless you find the perfect leopard print (as a top, a sweater, or as a shawl) you are safe wearing this bold print as a scarf, ballet flats, or on a bag. don't get me wrong... i say go for the bold, but just be cautious if you're a leopard first timer. good luck! //
