hello monday. wow, what a weekend! any Motha's out there?? how was your big day!? well the fireman, the frenchie {Charlie}, and i were on the go all weekend long. from parties to Mother's Day we squeezed in everything that was on our fun fulfilled to-do list... like make this killer ((mini)) succulent garden! it was definitely a team-effort because this was a gift for the fireman's {amazing} mom... so of course he had to help... right!?! right! here is our little rendition of a succulent garden... and the step-by-step! **this {mini} garden would make a perfect House-Warming gift too! let's get started. . . pour your ah-mazing cactus soil in....

LOCAL LOVE: Gumtree shop& cafe

this cozy little love shack has the best of both worlds... one half {on the left side} is a cafe that serves a killer latte & some delicious breakfast bits... and the other half {on the right} is a brightly lit boutique filled with gifts that any lady in your life would love!

LOCAL LOVE: Two Guns Espresso

if you're a semi-fanatic-coffee-lover {like me & the fireman} then you are probably always looking for the next cool spot to grab a cup of joe! this local hot-spot TWO GUNS opened about 6 months ago in manhattan beach, ca ((on Sepulveda next to the "BIG WOK") & has become one of my favorite coffee stops in LA! the shop itself is kicked back, friendly, low key, and has seating inside & out.

well happy monday. boowhooo (sad face). unfortunately the weather in LA wasn't all that i had hoped for. it was overcast and boarded on drizzling all weekend long! now keep in mind, i am one of those weirdo's that actually LOVES chilly overcast weather... but that is not the case when the weather man promised me sunshine & high 70's!!! damn weather man!

WHAT {i} WORE no.9

the weather in LA has been crazy lately! craaa-zy!!! one day it is howling 50mph winds with sideways rain and the next day it is warm and sunny with gorgeous blue sky's! so yesterday was one of the good ones! a bright blue sky with a pretty sunset and warm weather in between. so i threw on my go-to white skinnies ((from Target... hello, score!)) and my new favorite nude pumps to celebrate this gorgeous day. this kinda-look is my go-to outfit for a spontaneous date-night with my #1 squeeze, the fireman. **i heard it was 85° in NYC yesterday! is the weather a little crazy where you live too??? ***check out more "what i wore's" HERE. boom....
