Aesthetic Edge is a first-of-its-kind medical spa that offers cosmetic solutions in a luxurious, state-of-the-art facility. The spa offers cosmetic dentistry, plastic surgery and medi-spa services under one roof, using a unique and inclusive approach that incorporates multiple doctors. While she was in business school, managing partner Molly Fulbright conceptualized the idea of blending these services. She and her husband Michael Fulbright, a cosmetic dentist, partnered with facial plastic surgeon Keith Marcus, and in December 2008 they opened Aesthetic Edge. In April 2010, Molly left her corporate job and joined Aesthetic Edge full-time to help manage and grow the business.
What would you like potential clients to know about you?
“We have never taken short-cuts at Aesthetic Edge, and the foundation of our business is built on trust, honesty and hard work. Our clients appreciate that we are in this for the long haul, and we value our relationship with them.”
How do you give back to your community?
“One of the best parts of being involved in Aesthetic Edge is our extensive community work. We have been able to transform the lives of a great many people in need−from battered women to victims of hate crimes. Recently, we helped some very special mothers who had been through extreme circumstances and were in need of caring for themselves. We offered treatments, secured new outfits for them and enlisted a team of beauty experts for makeup and hair. When we finished, we put them in front of the mirror, and they couldn’t stop smiling!”
Who is your target client?
“Our clientele comes from all walks of life with needs that vary considerably. What many of them share is that they make a point to take time out for themselves. Too many of us get busy in our lives and can’t even find time to squeeze in routine doctor or dental appointments. Life is just too short to not make YOU a priority.”
Who is your professional role model?
“I’ve always looked up to my former boss, Laura Hartigan. She ran finances for the Clinton-Gore campaign in ’96 and served as finance director for the Democratic National Committee. Laura taught me a lot about managing people and relationships and inspired me in how she balances her career and family life.”
