Good Stuff was founded by Cris Bennett in 1979 as a small burger stand in West Los Angeles. Today Cris manages a culinary staff of 50 at the original restaurant and at three South Bay locations. Family owned and operated, Good Stuff restaurants are known for their beach themes and affordable, healthy, tasty food served in a fun, friendly atmosphere. Cris values his employees and credits them for the success of his restaurants. “Being in business for 32 years, I have had the good fortune to have some incredible employees who have worked for me over the years,” he says. “My head cook in my West Los Angeles started the day we opened, and he is still there. I have learned that employees are the most valuable assets that you can have in your restaurant.”

What is your favorite dish on your restaurant’s menu? 

“I love the Cris’ Breakfast Salad, my signature dish. Romaine lettuce, brown rice, black beans, pico de gallo, fresh Parmesan, tortilla chips tossed in a Caesar dressing, topped with scrambled eggs and ground turkey. Yummy.”
